How Cool Lipo Works

A larger tube is used for the stomach, arms, the inner and outer areas of the thighs and fat that accumulates on the back. The tubes work by liquefying the fat when it is gently moved over each particular area of the skin.
This is where traditional liposuction used to stop, and the result was that people often came out of it with sagging skin. Today, there is a second procedure used to tighten the skin after the fat liquefication process. The result is not only lost weight, but skin that has a tightened and healthy look.
What You Need to Know if You are Considering Cool Lipo
Cool Lipo is performed in your doctor’s office and you do not need to be put under general anesthesia. Because of this, the risk of the procedure is almost non-existent, and you can repeat it several times if you would like. A typical session lasts from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on how many areas of your body you want to have treated.
The recovery time for a Cool Lipo procedure is very minimal, and you can return to work the following day in most cases. You will need to wear a garment to protect the area where Cool Lipo was performed for anywhere from 24 hours to 2 weeks, depending on which body part was treated. Previous patients have reported almost no pain and very little bruising, so you should not need to take anything stronger than aspirin.
